چکیده
A cross-sectional study was conducted from January to July 2021 determine the prevalence and contributing factors repeat breeding (RB) postpartum anestrus (PPA) in crossbred dairy cattle central highland of Ethiopia. Furthermore; a retrospective used collect data on occurrence RB PPA associated risk factors. The pregnancy rate determined by rectal palpation day 60 after hormonal therapy using double PGF2α GnRH combination with PGF2α. (Ovsynch). 33.85% 30.73%, respectively. Body condition score, parity, milk yield, herd size, abortion, mastitis all revealed statistically significant association (p < 0.05) PPA. Cows previous history abortion were 2.58 times at than those without. Similarly, cows 2.63 more that didn’t encounter disease. Previously aborted older greater parity numbers 2.89 1.23 affected PPA, Moreover, endometritis retained fetal membrane showed (p<0.05) anestrus. rates treated + (Ovsynch) 41.46% 29.17%, It is concluded research area influenced body condition, daily yield cow. Reproductive health problems including membranes, endometritis, Although use or has resumed cyclicity cows, are yet low. Hence, utilizes detailed assay profiles reproductive-related blood metabolites should be done.

متن کاملRelationship between Postpartum Disorders and Pregnancy Losses and Subsequent Fertility of Dairy Cows
The aim of the study was to find the relationship between some postpartum disorders and pregnancy losses (PL), and the influence of PL on further fertility of Holstein-Friesian dairy cows. The 1,056 pregnancies and 906 calving intervals (CI) of 378 cows during the nine-year observation period were analysed. The average milk yield during this period increased from 7,500 to 10,500 kg/305 d of lac...

متن کاملComparative cervical cytology and conception rate in postpartum dairy cows
During the early postpartum period, multiple bacterial species invade the uterus of cows. Phagocytosis by polymorphonuclear cells is a primary mechanism involved in the elimination of bacteria and improvement of conception rate. Therefore, a relationship could exist between endometrial cytology and conception rate of postpartum dairy cows. In this study 50 postpartum healthy Holstein Frisian da...
